A Big Thanks!

A Big thanks is due to the best podcast out there for naming Drawn Under the Influence (DUI) as one of it’s favourite anthologies of 2021. I’ve been a listener of the 11 O’Clock Comics Podcast since Day 1 and the thrill of hearing a comic mentioned on there by these dudes is always the best! David was extremely kind to choose it as his pick and grant it an 11 O’Closcar! But a big hug is due to all the guys, David, Vince, Jason and fourth chair guest the effervescent Brian Newberry.

DUI began as a drunken suggestion during a very funny Awesome Comics Podcast Drink & Draw which everyone enthusiastically threw themselves into. I loved working on this book.

But the true hero here is one of my favourite people and the Grand Dame of Comics, Sarah Harris! Not only did she suggest the charity of Refuge (who received nearly £1k from this project) but she also edited the whole damn thing! It came out great and you’d never guess in a thousand years that this was her first go at editing. It is Slick AF! (As the kids say).

So here’s a big congratulations to every single person who took part in this project for free. Ain’t it cool seeing nice things go to good people!
