It’s the day before the Baltimore Comic Con and I find myself a stranger in a hot town. Not to be a typical Englishman but at one point when the winds got up it was like someone was holding a hairdryer turned up and firing it into your face.
I did see a submarine, a Brazilian battleship, a number of sharks and I touched a jellyfish. – Don’t worry people, full consent was obtained beforehand.
The highlight of this middle day was meeting up with my buddy Cliff Cumber and his lovely wife Laura. Whilst sitting in a quiet restaurant with a view of a battleship we ate posh food and laughed.
Cliff brought me this ace gift. A little hand drawn card welcoming me to Maryland featuring the mighty Ambush Bug, as well as a figure of the same fella. How cool is that!!
I was woken this morning by an electrical storm over the harbour. Appropriate I suppose as the comics greats arrive in town.
